How are Jeffrey Simmons and Montez Sweat not considered for the Nagurski Trophy?

If not both, at least one of them should be considered. Best defense in the SEC doesn't have one person listed. List is crap.

Simmons probably because they don’t want women beaters associated with the nagurski trophy.

Well I don't know why Sweat is not on the list but Simmons I can see why. You see Nagurski set up a home for battered women as his way of giving back to the community. So that's prolly why Simmons will not be on the list. Has Sweat beaten up any girls?

Vs Bama they had zero sacks and 2 TFLs between them.

Q had 1 sack and 2 TFL

In all their losses Sweat had 2.5 sacks

I think they got it right.

ETA: Simmons isn't even listed in sacks.
