How is College Gameday going to look if there even is a season?

Are they going to have 6 foot markers? I highly doubt we will see people sandwiched in together for at least a year. I have my own thoughts on covid (mostly all of the higher ups have overblown the s out of this like nothing I have ever seen), but at the rate things are going, I don’t see this show being the same. We probably have seen Lee for the last time.

What they should do, imo, is let the PEOPLE choose. Maybe make everyone sign a waiver or whatever, but let the people who are willing attend. I believe if people had the power to choose, there would be 100,000 in tiger stadium and Bryant Denny this fall. If anybody is too scared and wants to stay home, I guarantee that someone else would have no problem going to the game instead.

ETA - and yes I’m up at 3:27 AM because sometimes I can’t sleep because I feel like I’m living in a crazy world. 4 months later and nothing has progressed at all in terms of an end in sight to this thing as far as I can see. The magnitude of what I’m witnessing doesn’t correlate to the threat imposed by the virus at all, and it’s scary to watch. Feels like mankind is being rendered helpless by this, with truly only ourselves (the government and mass media) to blame for their actions and fear tactics.

I don’t like a few of those espn employees anymore so I’m not caring at all if college gameday is a Covid casualty. And this is coming from someone that watched that show religiously since it’s inception. Frick the SEC Network edition too while I’m complaining.

Will the dozens of people who they could possibly expose get the opportunity to choose? What about the dozens of persons that could be exposed by the first dozen?
We've already lost more people to COVID-19 than the Korean, Vietnam and Middle East wars combined. I know it's okay. You don't care because it's just old people. Never mind that over 47,000 persons under 74 years of age have died. Then there are those who have recovered from their hospitalizations who may have permanent damage to their lungs or other organs.
Just so you can attend a football game.

I know I'm in the minority here but GameDay should've turned into a two hour (10-12 eastern) studio show years ago. The crowds have grown boring unless it's a new location, game of the year, or teams like Tennessee or Nebraska whose fans are desperate to be relevant and ESPN is desperate to make it happen.

It will probably be aired in an ESPN studio and not on campus

Which will stop football in the fall

The virus or patriotism ??

This massive division between groups is very important

Which is more powerful ?

Patriotism or A Football team??

When a coach of ones fav team works against a persons principle ... what will that person do ?

Always check to see who is on whose side and look at history to know who will win

Today is no different than 1780 the same few people is here along with the same vast majority .. but it was the few who controlled the vast majority

Today has the vast majority trying to control the same few

History shows the certain few group is so powerful that it controls the vast majority

What we have today the sane pressure is coming .... will the result be the same ?

What does history say ??

For that reason don’t count on football when that few says the election has been rigged and is not legit

It's a fun experience for the students. Gameday at Tuscaloosa in 2012 is a highlight of my youth.

Will those same people who choose to go to the games, choose to quarantine themselves from work for 14 days to protect those who chose to stay home?

I went to LSU 05 and LSU 11 and I can say it made the game day experience better. That said, as a viewer watching from home, if you're not there the presentation is underwhelming and makes you lose interest, especially once you get to the late October part of the season where the weeks turn to shite.

That’s Howard on the left, Herbstreit in the middle, and Corso on the right

It was a 2 hour show until like 2013 or 2014. It’s only been 3 hours since then. You’re right though. It needs to be tightened up again. They were so good but have overextended themselves.

90 mins tops. Fast paced coverage of games, a quick highlight story, bring in the guest and make picks.

Way too drawn out now. On cupcake weeks they are literally scrounging for filler material and rehashing older stories.
