I lived in Metro ATL for 27 years, among many UGA fans whom I knew well. Not bad people, but they somehow always thought of themselves as Alabama's equal and the rest of us were just pretenders.

UGA fans thought their program was elite back in 1981. They just never stopped believing it despite evidence to the contrary.

There's been 31 National championships won by SEC schools in the big 3 mens sports by other SEC schools since Georgia won in 1990 in football. They are presently irrelevant.
