They haven't defeated Mississippi State in football since Phillips Fulmer was their head coach

Yes...and, Derek Dooley is the only UT coach Mississippi State has beaten in the last 25 years.

The 90’s, early aughts aren’t returning for them, but there’s no real reason they couldn’t be at a level of say, an LSU, and finish 3rd in their division consistently. They still obviously have a much more recent NC than UGA as well.

This is the most efficient troll of several teams that I have ever seen. Have an upvote.

Soooo are you disputing his facts?

If you want to brag about only one victory over Tennessee in the last couple of decades go for it. It's sad, but go for it.

This part is probably close, if only b/c of how difficult it's become to pluck players out of VA, and the rest of the South. Fulmer and his staff were consistently able to get the top players out of each state in the South year after year, esp GA. Recruiting is so different now, and with Kirby at UGA; recruiting the top talent there is even more of a battle. The biggest hurdle for TN has always been the lack of in-state talent, and having to pull the majority of high caliber players from out of state. That being said, Nashville itself is booming; and the in-state talent has been on a big time rise the past few years. It will be interesting to see what this staff or the next can do with that moving forward.

They are Alabama’s third bye week this year.

how many times do I have to tell you young whippersnappers that things go in cycles? Give it a little time, and we'll cycle right back on top!

Seems like Vandy fans have been saying that since about 1930.

I love beating them to a pulp, so senselessly arrogant.

"your recruiting sucks! look at all those 3*!"
*gets 50 dropped on them*(by many of the said 3*'s)

-next year (after an AWFUL coaching search and eventually settling for their #5 at best) -

"ya'll better watch out, we got a new coach!"
*gets 50 dropped on them AT HOME*

5-2 against them all time, honestly beating them is just the new norm.

They lose to Scar, Vandy and UK now. That's how far they've fallen

They will. Tennessee fans who thought this was finally the year they'd make it back and compete with Vandy.

Please, this adding to the pile of false hope debris, amounts to unnecessary cruelty for Vol fans, at least the few remaining.

Pruitt is a good football coach, but as long as that fat frick Fulmer is alive I hope slUT continues to eat shite and die.

This is why nobody likes Alabama. They win all their games and they're still salty about anything and everything under the sun. Why would Bammers hate on Tennessee? Tennessee isn't even good enough to beat Arkansas these days.
