Dude, I used to be the same way. Richt taught me lesson after lesson until, my give a dam ran out. I used to be in a bad mood all week after a loss, but after I figured out UGA was gonna lose a game every year they were supposed to win, it doesn't bother me at all anymore after a loss. I'm actually thankful to Richt for that.

Way more than I thought I would be coming off the natty. A loss to mizzou would’ve ruined my week.

It's so funny that you post this today. I have attended numerous Auburn versus LSU matchups since 1988. In my younger days I would be so emotionally invested in the game that I could hardly enjoy it. Being an Auburn fan since birth, it was always my personal Iron Bowl growing up in Baton Rouge.
I attended the game on Saturday, I think a combination between getting older and not expecting much out of this current Auburn program... I was pretty emotionless during and after the game. I went in with the mindset that LSU was going to blow Auburn out.
What I thought was funny, is my daughter (no pics) - who is from Baton Rouge is a freshman at Auburn - was super ticked off after the game, simply because she wanted Auburn to win because of all her friends going to LSU.... prior to her attending Auburn she could not have cared less about football LOL

I'm older, so not as much. Just a game.

I live in town so the pregame excitement is difficult to ignore. It’s just as fun as it was when I was in my 20’s, maybe more, but less about the game itself and more about everything that goes with it. Cooking a big spread and having friends and family over to watch. Also Chad Morris killed a lot of enthusiasm to be honest. I went an entire season not really caring about anything other than him getting fired so we could go back to rebuilding. Very happy with Pittman and hope he can build a blue collar program.
