Unlike most, I read all of your post. Good job! I'm not going to ask how long it took you to compile the data (even from well-sourced material), but the effort alone to put it down is commendable. Thanks.

Thank you. Reading your comments made it worth the effort.

Honestly, I was curious and essentially just wrote down the answers to my own question as I came across them. IT people were doing system maintenance at work, so I couldn’t use my computer for an hour or two.

I searched and did the math on my phone while talking with colleagues and clients on the desk phone.

Was lurking the Clemson board before and after the NCG, and got the impression that a majority of their fanbase (at least those who post on their forum) wholeheartedly believe the SEC is overrated. I wanted to chime in but didn’t have the numbers in front of me, which is what led me down this rabbit hole.

Once completed, I figured I’d just share it here rather than post it there. They’d just dismiss me as a troll and probably delete the post.

I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Yes....Ohio State's wins are nearly ALL against the SEC's lesser programs. Ohio State has never played Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Ohio State has a LOOOOOOOOOOOSING record vs...….

ALABAMA...1-3
AUBURN....0-1
FLORIDA...0-2
GEORGIA...0-1
SOUTH CAROLINA...0-2
TENNESSEE...0-1

The Buckeyes have a .500 record vs. LSU (1-1-1).

The Buckeyes have a winning record vs.....

ARKANSAS...1-0
KENTUCKY...3-0
MISSOURI...10-1-1
TEXAS A&M..4-0
VANDERBILT...3-1

Congratulations, Ohio State, on your so-called, "winning" record vs. the SEC. In reality, you're LOSERS vs. the SEC---and losers in general, too.

You and I usually agree on a lot of things.

Not this time.

The top 3 in the SEC would absolutley destroy the Buckeyes in any given season. Number 4 and 5 would take you to OT and win 70 percent of the time.

"Irrelevance"?? Nothing more than that right now than your tit of a brain.

In essence, the SEC owns Ohio State...y'all are AFRAID to play us during the regular season---you CANCELLED the scheduled home & away series with G-E-O-R-G-I-A, you scared pieces of doo-doo on an elephant's butt!

USC Trojans also own your sorry arses. So what if you beat a sorry 'SC team in the Cotton Bowl a couple of years back. Playing a sorry 'SC squad is the only chance Ohio State ever has of beating the Trojans.

Get back to your tundra.

Ohio State would do what A1abama has done to your conference, but they'd do it more frequently.

The SEC is Bama, and then everyone riding their success. Y'all are new money and little else.

Yes, I was trying to be polite. Four decades is Cleveland level irrelevance. Congratulations. You're the Cleveland Browns of college football.
