Apparently they don't like Yankees there.

Miles is washed up at this point and he'll be 67 years old this year. Guy had a great run, but he would not be a good solution at State. Billy Napier makes too much sense

Miles, currently, has the third best recruiting class in the Big XII, behind OU and Texas.

I bet he makes some noise next season. Possible big 12 title game appearance?

according to the 247 composite, he's behind Texas, OU, TCU, Oklahoma State, WVU, Iowa State, and Texas Tech, good enough for 8/10 in the Big 12 and 47th nationally. He has 5 recruits out of 25 that are in the top 1000 players on 247. He has one recruit in the top 50 at his position on 247.

Where are you getting he's 3rd in the Big 12?

TIFWIW but heard some boosters here in Mississippi want Freeze or Miles to be considered . Either would be a splash here for recruits to combat Kiffin in state

In Rivals, they have the 38th ranked class. OU is 12th, Texas is 21st. I missed West Virginia at 31st, so Miles' class is in 4th place, not 3rd.

Rivals - team rankings

Les will do quality control for both offense and defense using research obtained by playing surface. He will assist in the development of game plans based on weather conditions and type of field. He will in no way speak to any current, former, or prospective Quarterbacks or any current, former, or future Quarterback coaches. He will get bonus grass if he follows these orders

I actually think he could win a good number of games at MSU but he'd obviously never win a big game. For them, he would still be a huge improvement.

It'd feel funny beating the shite out of him every single year, though.
