Tennessee needs a huge cultural change. Getting rid of Phat Phil would be the first step. They also need to clean house with boosters as some have said. Then, change absolutely everything about their football team. I’d start with that hideous orange. Change that shite! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the NFL equivalent of Ut and a cultural change did the job. They need to invest real money in their football program. Facilities, training, football operations... everything needs to be changed to attract winners.
I have family up there who are all UT grads and they are just pathetic. Absolutely no faith in their program. They’ve forgotten what it takes to win. Apathy did them in.
I also think FSU is about to go down that road.

I've been on this board for a number of years and I don't remember ever agreeing with an Aubie, but this man has a very good point. Tenners were THE most obnoxious of fans in the late 90s and there was not a close second.

Tennessee should not be dropping games to Georgia State, but as long as Clemson, Bama and UGA are recruiting the same area at that rate The Vols can't expect to be much better than a 7-5 8-4 type team.
