I honestly felt overwhelmed yesterday, after the Auburn loss like a family member died type of feeling. Not joking it honestly felt like I got a phone call that a family member had died. Is that how y'all felt after the kick 6 bama fans ?

Sounds more like 2010 tbh. 2013 was never a certain victory

The only reaction I've ever heard from AU fans after a loss is posturing that they don't really care about football and how it's just a game. Weird to see an honest admission.

Don't know how any Auburn fan can be pissed about iron bowl. Yes - it was awful to lose that game.
However, going in I was hoping for a competitive first half. If anyone says they expected auburn to be competitive in that game then they are lying.

Honestly the older I get the less it bothers me. I do care about football but I’m not upset about the way we played or lost.
I’m a little bummed out from
The game and our future definitely looks cloudy but still looking forward to seeing what happens

It's hurts, the worst losses are the ones you didn't expect to win.

I survived cancer in 2006 so unlike you I have priorities in my life straight…..
It’s just a game but I did laugh last night after the aubrun melt at the end of the game.

I felt that way in the 2013 NCG, but don’t feel that way today. As a Bama fan, you probably wouldn’t know, but it feels much worse (to me at least) to get your arse kicked as bad or worse than you were expecting.

It's tough to sift through all the trolling and get an honest take on this board. Respect.

Yup!! Enjoy!!
But in addition....that game help me put things into perspective. At that point I stopped taking the games so seriously realizing its just 18-22 year old kids playing a game. A GAME!!! Too much other real schit in the world to care about like health, family, peace. I already knew this but got caught up in the success of the program. Now, I enjoy our dominance knowing it's not going to last forever but at least I've had the opportunity to experience a run that most other fanbases will never experience. This may never be done again...especially in our lifetime.

Beginning in 1964 until 9-11 and this past presidential "election" the fate of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves ruled my emotions to a lesser or greater degree. Now, even though the Bravos won a world series this year and the Dawgs have a good shot at bringing home a natty, neither does or will affect my good life down here in Costa Rica for more than an hour or so, for either good or bad. I do worry about the fate of my country and my friends and family back home though.

When the BCS and now the CFP began ignoring what happens on the field and using vague assumptions about teams to justify late season match ups that generate the most income I quit getting upset about Auburn loses. Now I enjoy the wins and move on when we lose.

I was more pissed at the msu and usc losses quite honestly. They played their hearts out. Backup QB with a fricked ankle, knew the game was over when they tied it.

You may be taking this stuff a bit too seriously.

The losses like that, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory hurt, but I would be over them pretty quickly if they weren’t replayed over and over. Like the Kick 6. It’s been 8 years and they still replay that on the regular and it still annoys the shite out of me. It feels like you are being taunted.
