How different would the season look right now if we had kept the cupcake games?

People are starting to freak out over W-L records in conf-only play. Remember, Kentucky went 3-5 in 2019, and finished 8-5 overall. A 2020 5-5 record is a 9-5 record normally.

Most teams finish .500 or worse (now 5-5) in conf play. In 2016, 10 of 14 SEC teams did. Brace for it.

We would be less battle-tested, that's for sure.

I still regret not having the USC vs. Alabama game in Dallas, both for the spectacle, and just as a gauge for where teams are nationally.

Y’all would have fricking boat raced them. Let’s not kid ourselves. Liberal media slobbibg all over Slovis’ knob because of USC and Cali. They still suck and have been shite since Carrol left. Oregon is gonna wax that arse this year.

We probably would have lost to ULM and beaten Auburn still...

Yea teams like Arky would have a 4-2 record right now. LSU would be 3-2 probably. Much easier to stomach.

shite USC would probably be 4-2

I think we would've beaten MSU, Brennan looked really nervous in his first start even though he put up decent numbers

A lot, but more so for player development. No spring and unsure offseason really is what hurt a lot of folks

This is why a permanent 10 game schedule is doa. The mid to lower teams wouldn’t be bowl eligible.

It is what it is.

We were set to play @Notre Dame, so I would take that.

Apart from their o line, they might be the most overrated team every single year because of the name.

I'm confident we would have lost to Coastal Carolina.

With that said the random addition of Auburn and finally get that monkey off our back was a nice exchange.
