Watching “The Mind of Hernandez” on netflix and this question popped up in my mind. Seriously, how did the religious guy with John 3:16 painted under his eyes make it on a team full of criminals? I believe I read those Urban Meyer teams averaged like 8 arrests per year. Tebow was a fricking beast on the field but didn’t seem like he would fit in with the Pounceys, Hernandez, etc.

Just like prisons have chaplains, he was that Florida team's chaplain.

I have a lot of respect for Tebow. Not only was he a great player but he was a damn good leader to lead that team and probably resist a lot of temptation.

Wasn't hard for him to do. Dude has a mind like a child.

His parents met while they were students at Florida so it was a legacy thing.

The night Hernandez punched the club owner in Gainesville, he was in the night club with Tebow lol

Yeah I saw that. That was probably the last time Tebow went out with Hernandez. Probably said “frick that, this dude is unhinged.”

Tebow was Florida's beard.
