Found this on Twitter:

- 18' Bama: 12 players drafted, went from 14-1 to 11-2 (to be fair, they may have won it all in 2019 if not for LSU)

- 19' LSU: 14 players drafted, National title to 5-5

- 14' FSU: 11 players drafted, 13-1 to 10-3

- 04' OSU: 14 players drafted, 11-2 to 8-4

- 21' UGA: 15 players drafted, 14-1 to 9-0 and No. 1 ranking (yet to be determined where this goes, but looks promising)

Kirby has the program set up to make a run, no doubt. One note to the LSU one above, the Tigers had four other guys who did not play the covid season* who ended up drafted. That list includes the best offensive player in the country that season.

If I remember correctly, LSU had only two starters return the following season.

List is shite
Season isn’t over … I’m a huge DAWG fan but even mentioning what a second season looks like in the middle
Of the season is insanely stupid .. 9-0 today what will we be in January, put this topic away and revisit it
When you have the final details.

COVID played a part when LSU also had key players opt out like Chase (best WR in country), Shelvin (DL anchor) and Vincent (our nickle back)

Plus injury to starting QB
No fans for home games
Other opt outs during year
Horrible coaching

It snowballed and it was actually pretty amazing they were able to get back to 5-5
