How did Dan go 4-4 in the SEC and lose to Ole Miss, AT HOME, with 3 first rounders?

3 losses were to Auburn, Bama, and UGA. That’s the SEC West champs and the 2 teams that played for a NC and overall more talented.

Low ceiling for the Miss State program. He did the best anyone could do, all things considered.

Don't take it personally, Dan is an underachiever. Congrats on the nice season last year. Relish it because he will constantly frustrate your fan base with his stubbornness. I don't hate the guy, its great what he did for State, but don't expect any type of SEC or National Championship. Also, you might as well just plan a family trip to Jacksonville every year for New Years.

Went from 9-4 to 8-5. Usually when you return talent you improve not digress.
