I actually like y’all. I randomly went on a college adventure to the university of Missouri in like 2010(?). I just know you played Colorado the weekend I was there. Only reason I was there was I had several Ole Miss friends from Missouri. Zou to the SEC was on no one’s radar

Enjoyed myself a lot that weekend. No I’ll will towards y’all other than the fact every time we play each other OM sucks dick and Mizzou is in the midst of one of their best seasons.

It is annoying, but assure you not limited to Missouri. It is an OM problem. We somehow scheduled a home and home with Wake fricking Forest the only time they’ve been good. We could schedule Rutgers and they would be a powerhouse once they came to town

I wouldn't say it's a big IF at all. The athletic department has had 2 highly successful seasons in the last decade or so to capitalize on and a back to back SEC Championship appearance but wasn't able to stoke an insane amount of interest with that.

I think, honestly, the SEC media has alot to do with that. Even after almost winning the conference, we were wrote off the next year by experts and ended up appearing in the ship again. In the Big XII we always had favorable media coverage surrounding our successes. In the SEC, as with this board, our success are always written off as luck. A&M who has had alot less "success" in football since joining the conference, has been able to have alot favorable media coverage from the experts and pundits of the conference.

I do believe that has alot to do with it aswell.

The main reason is Missouri was not putting the money into hiring a great HC. That starts right there! Drinkwitz should be the one getting it there. First time I was glad Missouri went away with the traditional hiring of HCs in general. I am really happy that Drinkwitz is the HC. H's going to turn Missouri around and it will not just be winning a 8-4 season and then flopped back down to a 6-6 season. He will be recruiting better! When the first season is completed that will get the in-State top players to go to mizzou. Right now it is hard to convince recruits to go to Mizzou based on 1 season at Appalachian State and not at Mizzou. That is why give it a year to get the recruits to see the similar results at Appalachian State and Missouri. The win loss record might not be the same but it should be respectable. I am picking Missouri to go 8-4 this season.

I know we had a home and home back when I first started following mizzou as a freshman in high school and I believe one was close and the other was a blow out but we won both games. The game in 13 I feel for you all majorly. When 2013 mizzou gets talked shite on cause Tre Mason went off is laughable. 2013 Mizzou was legit. Ole miss was very good that season too and we came out of Oxford with a win. Now last season, you caught us at a bad time. When you played us we were playing good football at the time but went downhill big time right after that(bryant got hurt). That was Plumlees coming out party I believe though and I remember telling everyone I was watching with that this kid is going to be a problem. He is good brother.

frick I forgot we even played last season lol

I have been checked out for a few years man. Matt Luke does that to you.

That 2013 game might be the coldest I have ever been, and your defense that year was nails. We still had a lot of problems in 2013 that did not get largely corrected until ‘14 and ‘15.

But the earlier games I mentioned were conveniently when you had Chase Daniels. frickers

We dont have any pro sports in Florida. FSU was semi-pro while Jimbo was there handing out cash. They say that Jacksonville might get a NFL franchise sometime in the future......

onestly believe the recruiting sites are horrendous at evaluating Midwest talent or anything away from a coast for that matter.
