I think you should start your own fantasy football league in the fall.

I meant that there needs to be football in order for that to happen. Pray for football.

I, for one, love it when a rival posts this number. It reminds me of an awesome year. I was at the GA/FL game and hooked up with two UF coeds that weekend. One I already knew from my home town, the other was a sorority sister of hers. And the Dawgs won in spectacular fashion. I was also at the NC game and had the time of my life in NOLA. If you've never done New Years in NOLA, you owe it to yourself. Even better when your team wins a NC there. Thank God we had a DD for the ride back home.

Please keep reminding me of that special year, fellas.

You’re a peach- I am about to make a huge life change. Haven’t told but a few people- I am so at peace which makes me think already that I’ve made the right decision but prayers would be most welcomed!

Whatever it is, good luck!

Nearly 8 years ago I decided it was time to get sober and shortly afterwards decided it was time to lose weight. It's been the best 8 years of my life. Wish I had done it much sooner.

I’m not on Facebook anymore.
But I follow your posts regularly.
You’re as sarcastic and sardonic as am I.
We’d be great drink drinking buddies.

There’s nothing more precious than a friend who prays for you.
It would be my privilege to stand with you today.
I’d like to be your friend,
How can I pray for you?

If anybody else attacks this person of prayer,
I'll curse you and bust your head wide open.

Prayer is something that doesn't exist. I can pray for a Ferrari tomorrow, will I get it?

I'll take a prayer for patience, please. I'll also take one for my wife to have patience with me.

Baby has walking pneumonia and baby number 2 will be here in June. Put a word in for them, please, also.

Thank you, EKG.

Prayer is Talking with God. He invites His children to speak and promises to listen: “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

Prayer can be being quiet before Him. We think of prayer as talking, but any relationship involves listening as well as talking; we can even be quiet in the presence of someone we love. Psalm 46:10 tells us, “Be still, and know that I am God,” and sometimes our souls just need to get still in God’s presence to remember His glory, power, and love.

Prayer is asking for a change of heart. The word “repentance” used to make me cringe because honestly, I didn’t want to remember my own sin. But I’m learning that calling my sin to mind, confessing it to God, and asking Him to change me ushers in spiritual renewal.

Prayer is telling God your needs in prayer. Although prayer is so much more than asking God to help and provide for us, our Heavenly Father does indeed care deeply about our needs and longs to supply them. Philippians 4:6 entreats us, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done”

Prayer can be presenting others to Him. As Christians, we have the awesome privilege of participating in God’s work by praying for other people. Although we often neglect it, our most powerful and effective ministry as Christians is prayer.

Prayer is thanking God. As we pray, let’s not forget to thank God for what He’s already done in our lives. When was the last time you thanked God for sending Jesus to die for you? Have you thanked Him recently for the gift of His Holy Spirit? When we thank God for the many spiritual blessings we receive, it honors Him and opens our eyes to the abundant life He’s giving us.

Prayer is asking for guidance. Do you ever feel confused about what to do next? Ever find yourself in a situation that looks impossible? Prayer provides an opportunity to ask God to guide us. Whether you face an important life decision, need God’s wisdom for a tough situation at work, or just need to know how to respond in a difficult conversation, God’s Holy Spirit will show you your next step when you ask Him for guidance.

Even if you don't believe in prayer, it can still help someone else become a better person. It's basically just positive self talk at that point.
