Will they have enough players to field a team next year?

If so, is a 9 loss season coming?

Does their recruiting class fall apart?

Are major NCAA sanctions coming for their football and basketball programs?

Do they fire their mascot, the shrimp boat captain?

What decent coach would want to come to that dumpster fire?

It'll be close
This year, dont play enough games, next year probably not , see weak ooc schedule
See in 8 days (0 decommits so far which I think would have happened if it was going to)
Maybe
I hope not
Probably a bunch

IMO even if no major sanctions are handed down, they're still screwed... No coach worth a damn would seriously consider walking into that gasoline fueled toxic chemical plant explosion..
With that said, something tells me that they probably won't see a mass exodus with their recruits BUT needless to say, they are NOT In a good place and there are probably loud rumblings within the program..

Finally with all kidding aside I kinda feel bad for them... Perfect storm last year and they were legit... That one little bitch who leaked Ogre's locker room speech really fricked them over... Most LSU fans don't get why BUT members of the Media, Saban and most people do... Also some of the shite that they did behind the scenes is coming back to hang them... Covering up sexual assault allegations, the children's hospital embezzlement, The Pear with his strong arse offers, the absolute EPIC collapse this year... I know they've lost players but damn they still have a lot of talent and they should have been more competitive... That speaks volumes about O... It shows that last year was a fluke... The perfect storm...

All that said, IMO, they are fricked for at least 2 years... Next year they will be better BUT they will still be mediocre... So from this Bama fan to the LSU nation enjoy the dumpster fire that you lit..

None of this has anything to do with the football program.

It’s bad. This is the most toxic environment in football right now. Winning doesn’t cure that. Something else is going on behind the scene

I think that's almost certainly the next shoe to drop. No way they won't lose at least a couple imo. Kids that LSU recruits all think they're NFL bound and all have plenty of other options

Who knew winning the natty was the way to get rid of Orgeron. Now ask yourself, was it worth it if O is gone? ...

"None of this has anything to do with the football program."

I watched Coach O's video of the RTWFU debacle, and then I saw him get his azz handed to him on a silver platter by Saban in the tune of 55 points. The real problem was when he came out in a post game presser and said getting beat like that did not hurt recruiting, and might actually help it. That is man who is totally out of touch with reality and one who will never rise to the standard that the LSU fans are demanding. You cannot sit on your laurels after winning a NC. If you want to stay at the top, you are gonna have to work for it, and working for it does not include all of the off field antics.

Yes. They'll be back to being above average next season. After that, who knows? As a Bama fan or even A&M, you would love to write them off as another Arkansas or Miss State but I doubt they'll ever fall off like that.

I doubt they'll take much of a hit from the NCAA.

Orgeron will keep his job at least 2 more seasons.

How many decent coaches are there actually who are available? Not a ton really.

Will they have enough players to field a team next year? Yes

If so, is a 9 loss season coming? Probably more of a 6 loss season if we have the OOC games

Does their recruiting class fall apart? Somewhat

Are major NCAA sanctions coming for their football and basketball programs? No, I don't believe major sanctions are forthcoming

Do they fire their mascot, the shrimp boat captain? Mike the Tiger has been around a long time and not old enough yet to die or retire

What decent coach would want to come to that dumpster fire? You would be surprised

Actually, all of these are correct answers. When you're on the hot seat, you're no longer the mascot.

How do you go from being a beloved coach to being involved in a Grand Isle dead hooker cover-up in less than a year?

The only thing that has escalated quicker is the sexual tension between Jumbo Fisher and the aTm yell leaders.

There has been evidence that Coach O was involved in this. I wish to God that I was making this up, but how could I possibly be?

Pay no attention to that. GI police solved the case months ago. It was some dirtbag gump off a fishing boat that docked at port Fourchon. He was high on meth and really did a number on that young girl. It happened the sunday after last year's iron bowl. Something made him snap. Nobody at either the GI police dept or the Port Authority could figure out what caused him to freak.
