2016: Auburn 18 - #18 LSU 13
LSU appeared to score the winning touchdown on the last play of the game, but after video review the game clock had expired prior to the snap, thus nullifying the score. LSU head coach Les Miles was fired the next day.

2017: LSU 27 - #10 Auburn 23
Auburn jumped out to a 20–0 lead early in the second quarter by scoring on each of their first four possessions. LSU cut Auburn's lead to 23–21 just 27 seconds into the fourth when D.J. Chark scored a touchdown on a 75-yard punt return that brought the Tiger Stadium crowd into a frenzy. Two possessions later, LSU took its first lead of the game, 24–23, on a 42-yard field goal. LSU tacked on a 36-yard field goal to make it 27–23 with 38 seconds left. Auburn's ensuing final drive ended with three straight incompletions and a sack, as LSU pulled off the comeback upset.

2018: #12 LSU 22 - #7 Auburn 21
Auburn led 21–10 in the middle of the third quarter before LSU rallied with 12 unanswered points, capped off by a last-second, 42-yard field goal by LSU kicker Cole Tracy, to win on the road 22–21.

The craziness in that rivalry goes back a lot farther than those 3 games. Since at least the 80s.

Well Bama didn't win 2 in a row against Gus, so there's that.

I mean it wouldn’t be super hard to find a series LSU can win a few in.

Hottest Rivalry in the SEC? LSU vs Auburn

Not enough animosity between the two fan bases, IMO.

Same reason Bama - aTm won't become the hottest rivalry any time soon.

IMO, the hottest rivalries ( in recent years) are:

1. Bama - AU
2. UGA - UF
3. Bama - LSU
4. Ole Miss - State
5. UGA - AU
6. LSU - UF
7. aTm - LSU
8. aTm - Ark
9. UT - UGA
10. USCe- UK

Auburn vs LSU didn't happen much prior to expansion. AUs main rivals back then were Bama, UT, UF and UGA. Auburn didn't play Ole Miss much either. That is why they are a better fit in the East from a rivalry standpoint.

Wrong...

LSU Auburn is the hottest rivalry in college football.

I’m ok with Auburn moving to the East, but they will have to play us every year.

Auburn can drop Bama if need be.
Nobody cares about that game anyway.

So in order for you to understand something, it must be explained on a very literal, elementary level.... lol

Do you not know what English is? Because it’s literally written in English. It simply didn’t explain it on a literal, elementary level.

...and you're gonna argue the meaning of that?
