I'm no medical doctor and I failed community college human anatomy, but I don't understand why players don't wear neck rolls. To the untrained eye it seems as if neck rolls would could down dramatically on players hitting the back of their heads on the ground.
Just like the worst bar fights I've seen, where the people most likely to go to the hospital are the ones who hit the back of their heads on the pavement when they're knocked out. I would suggest also wearing neck rolls to the bar if you anticipate it being a rough bar.

Instantly knew something was wrong. Apparently a neurological reaction to head trauma.
