The thread on the otherhand is LSU whinning, no denying it. The Super Dome is a dump but there is no reason to complain or start a thread about it.
Terrible comparison

Hoover =/= New Orleans

That would be akin to the Superdome being in Shreveport.

The Dome itself really isn't anything special especially when you compare it to some of the other NFL stadiums that are popping up. The city is the attraction and the reason games are played there.

I don't get mad when someone reveals that they are a complete fricking moron. I feel sad for them.

I would have liked to go to the tourney but Hoover Al is out in the middle of the freakin wilderness.

How about Houston or another city where fans could actually fly in?

That is just retarded.

I don't think you'll see too many people arguing that the dome is the pinnacle of stadium attractiveness.

The fact that he compared a sporting experience in New Orleans to one in Hoover is astoundingly moronic.

I mean, it isn't a bad place although before the renovations it was kinda shitty. The Dome just isn't the reason why sporting events are held in New Orleans which is different than when sporting events are held in Dallas, Indianapolis, or any other city with a brand new stadium.

No doubt it is dumb. The thread was originally only about stadiums, so there was logic in there somewhere.

Dallas and Indy suck though, that's why they need shiny new things to attract people there.

It's not fricking rocket science to know that a stadium that's 30 years old isn't going to be as nice as one that's only three years old.

But by no means is it a dump.

I've actually heard people say the new stadium in Dallas kinda kills the crowd noise.

I've never been. The only thing I've heard consistently about it is that the TV is distracting.

It's not a dump, and I never said it is. Some are arguing that the stadium itself is good enough to host an event on its own merit. I disagree because of the age like you pointed out. However, the Dome isn't the reason things are hosted in New Orleans.

I think I remember they interviewed Tolliver before the Cotton Bowl, and he said it was hard not to watch himself catch the ball on the tv.

Besides, I don't really care if my team's stadium isn't the nicest one in the country. I'd rather it be a horrible place opposing teams and fans are scared to enter.

The dome in Dallas is really special, not even including the video screen.

What in the actual frick are you talking about?

Bama fans getting feelings hurt about something in their state. Pretty easy folks to troll, if someone was inclined to so such.
