Made a few years ago, but as we approach summer a good reminder to be very careful about your pets and hot vehicles.

Honey Badger will tackle you in the parking lot if you leave your pet in a hot car.

Video

It took 8 minutes in 90 degree weather (super common for southern summers) for the interior to reach 120 degrees.

This is what he'll do to you if you leave your pet unattended in a hot car:

That's just some good quality PR right there. Good on him.

One of the best football players I have ever seen, period.

And great job for the public service message.

I haven't followed him much in the NFL but he seems to have turned out to be one of the good guys.

Not many folks would be willing to mildly inconvenience themselves for something like this, much less torture themselves to prove their point like he did.

Millions of people work outside in this country, 5+ days a week.

I forgot it’s 120 degrees outside with no air circulation. I learn something new daily.

1. Not in a box with no air flow
2. Incredibly rarely is it 120 degrees
3. Unlike your pet, those people have means of stepping away from the conditions

Your point is both stupid and irrelevant.

Kudos to the Honey Badger! Keep your pets at home if you can't do something this simple.

He is one of them rare cases where a player at that level of fame was headed down a bad path actually really turned himself around. His story should be put out there big time. Show kids there is another way and you can turn your life around. He is a real role model.

There are only a few professions that deal with ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY PLUS degrees of sustained heat. You get heat stroke when your body hits around 104 and it's pretty much over at 108. If it is 120 outside, it is pretty damn hard for your body to self regulate your temperature at 16 degrees lower than your environment.

PETA’s message in the OP is smarter than yours

Hope you feel terrible

If the honey badger played in today's college game, no one would care. What he smoked weed/spice? Who cares? He was always a good dude.

He is my favorite player from LSU… I tried to not like him but I just can’t. This is an important topic.

Oh, LSU would still suspend him, and he'd look great playing for Kentucky the next season.

I really just wanted to showcase a former SEC player using his fame to do a nice thing.

But pray tell, how is "do not torture your pets" a PETA thing? Shouldn't that be a "decent human being" thing?

The video was by PETA.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s the only time PETA has gotten their point across in a sane manner.

My bad - I focused so much on the screenshot I saw and the part of the video where they focus on the ramifications that I missed who created it.

Make no mistake - as an animal lover, I hate PETA. I just wanted to focus on Tyrann's message though.
