Only way Some college athlete could miss that bad on a routine throw to 1st. No way he sucks that bad.

Only way Some college athlete could miss that tag on a runner running right in front of him. No way he sucks that bad.

They had 2 outs, right? H could try to tag the guy running in front of him, but he could also simply throw it to 1B for the final out. Probably thought the runner would get past him or something. Probably just kept 2nd-guessing himself at the moment, and blew a circuit or something....

He could've saved himself the trouble of screwing up by not driving in Auburn's first 3 runs.

Only saw the replay, thought I saw a stewardess on the ball. Talk about air mailing.

It’s like they said on TV, if he tries that tag, there is a pretty big chance he loses the ball as Mac runs into his glove. It happens all the time.

Cargo planes have stewardesses? That seems unnecessary.

That’s Eduardo Perez’s stupid arse logic. You tag the fricking runner. All day. Everyday. All he had to do was take one step. He actually stops the motion of throwing to 1B to let MacNamee by. That’s the dumbest shite I have ever witnessed. Butch needs to realize if he is going to hang the reputation of his team on a single player he needs to get one that speaks English instead of gay-arse French.

Unfortunate for him, but I don’t know how AU was even in it after giving up 12 hits to state. They also had 3 errors.

An old saying is that cream rises to the top. Turds float, too. Aubie played over its head for 8 1/2 innings. This will sound trite, but the better team won and order was restored.

That same situation occurs every day in MLB and every time, without fail, the third baseman foregoes the tag and makes the throw to first. Why? It's more routine. Too much can happen when you make an abnormal step to try and tag a runner.

Kid made the right decision on the throw. I think the initial indecision, paired with the heaviness of the situation, caused the bad throw. If he just catches and throws, he probably makes a good throw and Auburn is in the winner's bracket.

This is baseball and shite happens.

Not sure what the over/under was, but State was 1.5 point favorites. His error wouldn’t matter.

To make it simpler for you, whether State lost or won in a walkoff, they weren’t covering unless a home run was hit. Therefore point shaving wouldn’t matter from the spread perspective. Pretty simple.

Duh... I wasn't thinking spread. I was thinking simply in terms of winning the game.

It's early. Not enough caffeine yet.
