He’s pretty good. Needs better recruits.

How’s the lesbian doing? Drinkherwitz or whatever she’s called?

He held the UGA offense to 30 points at home.

Only Brent Venables and Clemson have done better.

The only true NFL prospect Arkansas has on defense is Catalon. Maybe Tre Williams.

Yet Georgia said they offense was not doing much and wasn't needed. In other words took the gas peddle off. Just do a little bit and let the defense do their job. Simple as that. Just was I saw was a conservative offense.

Most UGA fans cant tell you what kind of defense a team throws at us.
Arkansas had 3 down linemen and continually dropped 8 into coverage.

UGA chose to be conservative by choosing not to force the ball into tight windows. We DID NOT choose to be conservative to be nice to Arkansas until the very last drive of the 4th quarter (arkansas responded in kind by not using timeouts at the end of the game).

Clemson played 4-2-5 nickel but kept 3 high and quarters all game. They trusted their front 4 to control the LOS and our ground game. Similar to Arkansas, they played to take away the deep shots and force us to drive the field.

Most dawg fans dont know the difference between being conservative (i.e. UGA running at will on Auburn despite their loaded box in the second half) and taking what the defense gives us.

The reality is that Venables and Odom know that you dont dare Todd Monken to throw against man coverage. Not even with a 2 star former walkon QB and 3 freshmen receivers (two of whom were 3 stars).

Yet Mizzou beat them by throwing the ball last year! Then Dan Mullen had Florida running and throwing all over Arkansas last year. 62 points I believe.

Yes Odom was going to turn that defense into an elite one within the first year. Yep that defense is stacked with draft prospects.

I think that was my confusion as well.

Wasnt it almost a winless team in 2019?

I can admit that your linebackers looked better against us in 2020 than 2021. But arkansas plays very solid team defense. And that is why odom is so respected.

If you look at the total roster and Mizzou is 13 out of 14 in the SEC. Arkansas and many others are way up there. Drinkwitz is doing work to bring in better players that Odom couldn't bring in to save his job! See Kentucky doing it slowly. Might have to do the same way. So far the recruiting class is way up for this year class. That is what needed done in 3 years straight. Not just 1 year. So give Drinkwitz time. Remember Chase Daniel? When Gary Pinkel was the HC and Mizzou was in the Big 12. Chase Daniel had to hustle to get some good players to come play for Pinkel and it worked. It is what going on right now. Getting recruits to show up for other recruits when they come to visit in Columbia. That is the future is about getting those good recruits to come play together and make a run like those few years with Chase Daniel and others. It took like 2 to 3 years to get to be number 1. That was how good Chase Daniel was and was able to help with recruiting. When Odom was the HC there was nothing like that. I am seeing he wasn't a good recruiter and not a good HC. I am not worry about this year. I am going to be glad to get the better recruits for the future. That is what is needed to compete. Need good backups and depth. This football team is in a huge mess right now due to many not being good players all around and lack of depth and very few good backups.

Yet your post directly before this slams Odom for games last year which was Odom’s first year with us. That’s so super duper fair of you.
