Rivals didn't even come to Arkansas to see ANYONE for their re-evaluations.

Wouldn't worry about it as Rival's will rank this class in the 60s with 28 5.7 3 stars while ESPN and Scout has it in the top 15.

2013 RB for Fayetteville will be the next D1 player to come out of Fayetteville.

you watch you're damn mouth you SOB, my lovely bride is from Gravette.

OK back to being banned.

I am an esteemed Gravette alum. Gravette obviously turns out a great student product (and they don't even recruit).

We won't have to worry about QB for a long time

we said the same thing for both Lee and Jefferson. Both highly touted as well.

I've seen Allen play in person and I'm confident that he will be a very, very good college QB. However, that doesn't mean he will ever start. That's the type of talent Petrino is bringing to Arkansas and the competition will be fierce. Allen has an adequately strong arm, a quick release, is very accurate and understands the game. After all, his dad is one of the coaches at Arkansas.

we were spoiled by matt mauck. someone who was smart with the ball and could run when he had to. I will be glad when qb controversy is no longer. we are now on our 3rd season with this controversy and uncertainty. I have never really blamed the Miles for this, i think out of frustration we take it out on somebody. for me that somebody is Gary Crowton. He has to go.

After Lee's first year when he threw all those pick 6's, why didn't Miles recruit some quarterbacks? JJ was the best he could do?

JJ actually came with highly touted as well. And as a passer. Not to mention we were still feeling the perilloux thing. Some bad luck man. Now we are paying for it. But to the point both the qbs were highly tounted. thats my point you never know what you got till you get them on the field.

true, but Petrino turned Casey Dick into a serviceable SEC quarterback in one year. I don't think we have to worry too much about Petrino developing the qb's.

^^this.

Tyler Wilson is light years ahead of where he was last year this time. A couple of years in Petrino's system and I have faith in all of our current QBs.

Yes but Petrino actually knows how to develop QBs. I don't think he's ever had a bad QB... he made Casey Dick look good.

i have said for 2 years now, we need a qb coach. A real one. With the talent that jefferson and both lee have, i think they could have been pretty good. As good as they were touted to be. We have no qb coach worth a shite and an offensive coordinator who was busted long time ago. I am sure petrino could have done much better with that position.

Rivals Barry Every attended the Fayetteville - Har-ber game to scout Allen, Cook and Dean. He was very, very impressed by Allen. He gave Allen an "A". Allen threw for 259 yards and 4 TD's in a 55-51 loss to Har-ber. Allen now has over 3000 yards 31 Touchdowns and 0 Int's.

And Trey Biddy (Arkansas' Rivals recruiting "expert") thought he might move up to a 4 star based on the comments Every made. That automatically makes him a better player than he was as a 3 star just the night before. Imagine that. With one fell swoop of a pen Allen's stock goes up ........with the uninformed and ignorant star gazers. Allen is damn good and I couldn’t be happier to have him.

I just looked at Rivals and there is NO WAY in hell that the 9 QB's in front of him has 75% Comp, 31 Touchdowns and 0 Int's.
