He's trying to hide the Starkel so future opponents don't have film to study.

It did but Morris just had a PC naming him the starter due to his knowledge of the offense. I do expect Starkel to take over eventually tho.

My guess is Starkel isn't up to snuff on the playbook yet. Hicks can at least help break in a couple freshman starters at WR until Starkel knows what he's doing, if he's in fact the better QB, which I imagine he is.
