We don’t know how they’ll escape punishment for obvious cheating. But we know they probably will.

They’ve been dirty for-fricking-ever.

ETA: the head of NCAA enforcement is a kU grad.

Yeppp, look how UNC cakewalked through their deal with NCAA. Bowden had to give up victories at FSU for much less.

Turden, friendly reminder that the civil war started in MO / KS long before you cowards in GA did anything.

I assume you're talking about us.

They'll probably get slapped on the wrist and go on with life. Meanwhile, we have a rogue tutor who, on her own doing, cheats for athletes who are no longer with the University...and we get a bowl ban.

But in reality kansas is insignificant and meaningless...a vast wasteland between between Missouri and Colorado and Oklahoma and Nebraska.

Not into schadenfreude, but, the expectation is that the NCAA will most likely treat KU inconsistent with its rulings re: MU or other "small-revenue-stream" institutions when it rules.

"Basically, March Madness is the NCAA's bread and butter. College athletics' governing body will earn somewhere around $900 million in revenue from the tournament, representing about 90% of its annual revenue. "

They know where their self (no pun intended) interests lie

Trying to paint Kansas as a sympathetic victim?

Yeah, I can't see that working at all

They will earn that whether kU is involved or not.

They got hit with LOI and 3 level 1 violations. They are going to get significant penalties and it’s about damn time.

I think Self and Kansas go down. He's been operating on the fringes for quite some time. Every season he'd start the year with some ineligible players. Bill Self may have the sports media on his side because he takes every reporter to hooters but Kansas is no North Carolina as far as the NCAA is concerned. The Pump brothers bullshite was just 9 years ago.
