Did you know your Athletic Director, Greg Byrne once tried to make Mississippi State's Slogan "Vroom Maroon". I kid you not. We laughed him out of the State. Will he change the Tides slogan. VROOM MAROON. LMAO

Just when you thought MSU couldn't suck any more than they already do...

I’ve always liked Staaate... but this stupid, incomprehensible, pointless, OP pretty much tilts the scale toward WTF.
God almighty, the drugs/alcohol problem is real and getting worse out there in the burgs isn’t it?

Fortunately, we have a historically recognizable slogan that doesn't require any attempt whatsoever for rebranding.

AND... it does not require translation into any other language because it’s meaning is always the same. That slogan is perhaps one of just two originally English expressions that are now recognizable and perfectly understandable in any country worldwide. The other universal expression is ... “Okay.”

Dude, he is NOT an MSU fan. How many times do people on this board need to be told?
He HATES Msu and has been exposed numerous times. This is why he starts shitty threads but it’s even more amazing to me how many fall for his shite. He is an attention whore.

You are still an attention whore and a fake MSU fan. Oh, and you start shite threads and will bump your own threads. I gonna call you the board whore from now on.

Probably need something.
"Starkvegas" is pretty shitty.

Oh, I don’t know. After all Starkville is French for trailer park. Maybe they should forget the Vegas angle - it’s pretty lame not to mention absolutely ridiculous - and just go back to Starkville. It feels right

Speaking from experience, you will always lose this battle.

Hey dipshit, he’s without a doubt one the best AD’s in the conference and was one of the first at State to think outside of the box. There is a reason he was called the Ninja. They floated that idea and when they saw the social media reaction, it was nixed real quick.

Not really because it’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to what students have been calling it for as long as I can remember.

I don't know if this is a joke or not because it actually seems to fit with things State has done in the past decade.

And thankfully, much like our uniforms.**
