Who ya got?

I think Coach O should have enough talent to beat Texas, but Herman will have his team ready too. Will be fun to watch this game

FWIW, LSU is 1-7 in Austin

Herman is a better coach. LSU more talent.

I think it will be a close game.

Coach O and Aranda have struggled with offensive minded coaches (see Mullen beating them 84-26 the previous two seasons) and Jimbo hanging 70+ on them.

Gus doesn't count because he's a HS coach.

Oregon - Herman is an idiot. However, the idiot will have Texas prepared, because he knows the rest of their schedule is pathetic. In the sips minds, they HAVE to win

Is if BDF refs? If so, LSU shouldn't even bother to go.

Ed O and LSU will mudhole the whornes.

Ed O will be feeding his boys raw bevo meat all summer. It could get ugly.

Herman is overrated. Ed O is a fricking man’s man by gosh.

I’ve got LSU winning by two scores minimum.

Texas lost a lot, like 8 or 9 starters on defense.

While we only lost like, 5 guys total. (Thank God)

It'll be a good game but I think Texas lost too much to overcome.

Herman hasn't exactly lit the world on fire offensively at Texas, it's been the defense that's winning them games.

LSU's scoring offense was actually higher than Texas' last season

Orgeron will surprise everyone and win this game, then drop a game he shouldn't later in the year

herman always does a good job of getting his team prepared for the big games. i bet it will be close but tigers too much talent and experience. Plus i dont think the home field is much of an advantage for texas.

Everyone seems to be forgetting (or seems to not realize) that Texas lost 8 starters on an already SHITTY defense.

This doesn't bode well for Tom Herman.

This is why CEO's new and improved offense will crush them.

O's offense is like a BDF one. It actually plays to the strengths of Texas - if LSU were smart, they'd just pound it down their soft team.

While it wasn't a very good defense, it did win them quite a few games last season when it mattered:

28-21 vs. Tulsa
19-14 @ KSU
23-17 vs. Baylor
24-10 vs. ISU
24-17 @ Kansas
28-21 vs. UGA

Interesting side note - none of those teams were any good except UGA

KSU, Kansas and especially Tulsa were pitiful teams

Orgeron all day long. Ed's getting shite done at LSU, hiring the right guys and recruiting lights out. He will have his guys ready to kick arse.
