Sad. Another coach Texas and Austin will ruin.Vic seems like a good guy. Pull a Billy Donovan or Bobby Clemmons and return to Starkville.

Vic use to live in Austin Texas.
First of all its Miss St. its hard to keep any great coach at places like that. He actually turned many jobs down over the years. Texas is where his family and home is, so understandable he want to go back there.
Nothing about any of this is shocking. Frankly he stayed longer than I anticipated. He was a classy guy. I think MSU fans are disappointed but wish him well. He did a lot for that program and community.
MSU should promote their associate HC J. Harris IMO who was a big reason for their current success.

Dawn Staley would leave for UCONN, Baylor and Notre Dame right now. I might even put Louisville in there.
