Hendon Hooker is the best QB in the league

It's unclear to me why Bryce Young is getting all the Heisman buzz. Hendon Hooker is objectively better than him at football.

Last season:
Hooker: Comp%: 68 Y/att: 9.7 TD: 31: Int: 3 PER. 187
Young : Comp%: 67 Y/att: 8.9 TD: 47 Int: 7 PER: 167.5

Same story this season: Hooker has better numbers across the board.

Before anybody chimes in with "But but but....QBR", I think QBR is some abracadabra shite someone at ESPN came up with when they were tripping balls on shrooms. And I'm not anti-analytics, either. A big fan of data analytics, as a matter of fact, but QBR strikes me as a bit too contrived, and I'd say that even if Hooker's QBR rating was the best.

Bryce Young is a returning Heisman winner (who happened to play 1 mediocre game). If you're confused as to why he's getting the hype, you are retarded

I like our QB. Not necessarily because he has staggering passing yardage, because that's not what they ask him to do. He is extremely efficient running Briles' offense. He completed like 86% of his passes the other day and ran for 60 or whatever it was. Arkansas hasn't punted very many times this year.

You left off W-L and one of them played in significantly bigger games. Those TDs are similar you say?

I do too. KJ has an uncanny ability to know when to run and when to pass. In that way he reminds me of Hurts.

I love Hendon Hooker's play...but he is the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the SEC...which is still pretty amazing. I would say the best QBs in the SEC would be:

1. Young
2t. Hooker
2t. Jefferson
4. Rogers
5. Levis

Dart could break into that top 5...but there just isn't enough data on him in SEC play yet to put him in there.

When Hooker is on, he is the best by far. Bryce Young looks like shite when his line isn't protecting that well. I would choose KJ Jefferson over BY any day of the week.

Bryce Young is just yet another Heisman QB who looks all world when.he has an NFL level oline, WRs and a good defense helping him out.

I love how Bama fans are trying to ac like Texas is magically good all of a sudden or something.

With the NFL offensive line that allowed him to be pressured more than any QB in the SEC?

You really seem to know your stuff, Crunchy.

He does. He's a bit bigger than Hurts, but they seem to manage the offense similarly. He runs like Cam Newton when he takes off. They did a side by side comparison of those two running the same play the other day and their running style and size were almost identical.

I kinda wish they would have Jefferson throw the ball a little more. He has a great arm and is very accurate.

Are we really circling back to Bryce Young is only good because of his offensive line again?

Do you people actually watch football games?

Slow down boss. We're 2 games in and playing in the SEC east is quite different.
