Man I can tell you this much, there is no morale to boost in that shite hole. He's lucky he's not there in the summer, although I'd bet it's starting to become a little uncomfortable weather-wise.

Every letter I got was a great feeling, but I think too many made it even harder. As soon as you step foot on those yellow footprints, you're counting down the days til you leave. DIs may might start to notice the volume of letters he's receiving and that could make life harder for him there. They always seem to find any and every excuse to frick with you, even if you do everything right.

I got water bowl ITd. Wasnt fun. I did nothing wrong, but my rack mate did. DI said, Recruit S, go fill up these water bowls. I remember looking in the mirror smiling. I get back out and DI says, drink.

Threw up a few times and had to keep drinking. Then I had to clean it all up.

I thought about that. But he writes me back saying “keep them coming.” So I do.

Sounds about right.

I screwed up once (don't remember exactly what I did), and our kill hat put me on the dip bar. I must have been doing dips for 45 minutes until my arms became jello. I couldn't bring myself to do one more. When he realized I was done, he also realized I wasn't done. He called my rack mate, Sanchez, over and had him get in push up position underneath me. I continued to do dips, while standing on his back while he pushed me up.

Then send away!

My mom sent me a card once that played music and sang when you opened it. The envelope was a little heavy because the card was so thick. If that's the case, they make you open it in front of them to make sure there isn't anything in there that isn't supposed to be. that was a bad day LOL.

I’ll see what my operator friends at Bragg can do to lift him up!

Send him an Area 51 book or something. Maybe the script of a good show.

That means he will go straight from boot camp to advanced training.

It was only 10 days anyway. Its actually better to go straight to your school, less likely you will do something stupid.

Question, is your son a Reservist? Asking because that would be the only way to guarantee 0331. Because he would be on an infantry contract and MOS gets assigned at SOI.

Ha!

I'm sending them all through Sandboxx, so they look like everyone else's letters.

Tell him he's just a few short months away from a lifetime of hero worship and government handouts. All he has to do is complete some conditioning and get yelled at a little.

Also, tell him his dear good friend Tuscaloosa said Roll Tide.
