Plumlee is going to piss off a lot of opposing fans over the next 4 years. He has legitimate 4.5-4.6 speed

He fast as all hell. All he needs is a crease. But I have a feeling he is gonna get rocked sooner or later

I keep readin 4.4ish but either way there's been so many times, especially against Bama where he was rolling out and their OLB or DE would have an angle on him and I was yelling "throw it away, you can't outrun that!" and he did. Idk how, but he looks like he's scootin at top speed then shifts gears again.

That's my primary concern. He needs to put on some pounds and quick.

Coaches say 4.5 and Plumlee said they were selling him short

Ehh... kind of. They haven't had a bye, so they technically don't lead in YPG which is the better metric IMO.

Not interested in his 40, very interested in that he hits his top speed at step 4 and can cut and change direction while accelerating. He reminds me of Dexter McCluster.

Unfortunately his arm does too.

Plumlee is pretty raw as a baseball player, I'll be surprised if he ever plays a meaningful role on the OM baseball team

Dude can't throw though. Might be the worst QB in the SEC as far as throwing it goes. All you have to game plan against him is let him earn his yards. Their defense can't stop run and can't stop pass. There isn't enough time in the game for Ole Miss to beat any team with an offense that has a pulse.

I wouldn't say he "can't" throw. He's pretty accurate. Most importantly he's making pretty good decisions when throwing/keeping it. He doesn't have SEC arm strength though.

Ole Miss's run defense isn't bad at all. (#6 in SEC, #34 nationally - ahead of both Auburn and Alabama).

Edit to add - going by yards per game, #4 in the SEC, #20 nationally

Yeah, I was just circling back to that. Ole Miss is day and night improvement on run defense despite facing at least 3 teams with sure NFL backs.

MacIntyre has done a hell of a job with this defense. Our secondary is crazy young and will only keep getting better.

Have you even watched a game this year? We've kept 4 of the 6 teams we've played under 70 yards total rushing. Nobody has gotten to 200 either.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn had 69 (nice) yards on 18 attempts and 0 TD's against OM. Two weeks before that he put up 130 yards on 20 attempts and 2 TD's against LSU. Heck he had more yards against Georgia than he did OM.
LSU hasn't kept any team they've played under 100 yards rushing. They just gave up 250 to Utah St.
Now pass defense? Sure.

I mean either know what you're talking about or be content going through life knowing everyone you come in contact with will quickly realize you're a moron
