That ole miss players went down with "injuries " 28 times out of 78 plays against Tennessee sat night. Idk if that's true, mostly because I'm too lazy to check myself, but that's pretty ridiculous. Bunch of vaginas in Oxford. Y'all going to force a rule change.

This would not be a bad thing.

I like the rule you can’t come back until next first down by the offense

I would like to see it that they have stay out the whole possession. They can come back after they're offense comes off the field.

That seems too severe to me. What if a kid really is shaken up, but can come back after a couple of plays? It’s penalizing the innocent for the actions of a few.

If you're injured on a play, and it results in a stoppage of time, you should have to sit out the rest of the series.

It would suck, but it would greatly curb the flop bullshite.

Then players needed to have jacked a couple of the floppers' jaws when coach isn't looking in practice and put an end to this shite before the rules committee had to notice it.

They didn't. They were even complicit. So it would serve them right.

Auburn will object to any changes to the rules.

Did you see the clip of the UT guy taking a dive with the coach waving him to the ground?

It is not illegal, so they take advantage of that.

Rule change incoming....

I'm so old I can remember when players scored they would just hand the ball to the refs and walk back to the sideline.

Yeah I watched it live; but hell if I was Huepel I would have done and told him the exact same thing. Ole miss had been doin it all night and not getting penalized or anything for it at all; and his team was abt to get a 5 yard penalty so he did what ole miss was doin all night and avoided it. I thought it was more smart not cheap.

I think it should be for the whole quarter.

My proposed rule: every time a defensive player stops the game for an injury, the offense gets a free yard or the defense can use a timeout to avoid giving up the yard.

IF a player needs assistance from the field, for safety reasons he should sit for the remainder of that quarter.

This would clean things up quickly.

Exception: If a sniper shoots your leg like Anthony Swain against Arkansas a few years back, then you can return once you vital signs are stable.

Teams did that against us when Huepel was our OC all the time. It was annoying AF.
