6. U$C
7. Ohio State
8. Oregon

The reality is only UGA if they win out is a lock. Even if LSU wins the SECCG they are not a lock to go to the playoffs.

Better shot than bama right now.

And we have a worse loss that nobody seems to care about anymore.

The crappy CFP committee would put ultra-soft Ohio State in over Ole Miss in that scenario. They are so biased to brand names it's not funny. Remember when they screwed both Baylor and TCU in 2014. To put in Ohio State. Who had lost to a bad Va Tech team that year. Then, they put Ohio State in after losing to Penn State and not winning their conference OVER Penn State.

If that is the best you can do for an insult might want to try harder. My expectations for making even Atlanta were gone before the Tennessee game.

LSU will not make the playoffs so this debate is a moot point.

Smaller “if” than LSU beating Georgia

TCU was the best team in the country at that point, IMO. Fantastic team.

They would definitely put one of the two (OSU/Mich) in over Miss

I’m pretty sure Ohio st won in 2014 which would make it a stretch to say the committee got it wrong leaving out Baylor or tcu or whoever......2016 bama and Clemson would of smashed penn st as well.

Think of the SEC payday, for one thing.

Clemson/North Carolina winner will get a spot if they run the table in that scenario with 1 loss.

I don't think the early FSU loss really hurts LSU that bad since they seem to have improved. I just don't see the committee keeping the SEC champion out of the playoffs.

In the short term, having more SEC teams in means more money for the conference. But if the sport becomes regionalized, then there's less money overall to be distributed. It seems like we're losing the west coast, and the northeast is largely out of the picture.

But I really just don't see why people are so enamored with the idea of SEC teams just playing SEC teams.

I think LSU with an SEC CG win gets a 4 seed.

The Bama bump is real. Lsu is much improved since week 1.

They played Bama as well as any team since the 2018 NCG loss.

Very deserving if they win out.

Utk is the paper Tiger they looked like after TSIO. They stole a game vs Bama. Lsu won a game.

UGA might end up a 4 seed to an LSU 3 seed in the scenario. But, 2 teams from same conference will be fought against heavily due to CFP ratings

I don't care that Ohio State won. Doesn't mean they deserved to be in over TCU or Baylor. You in no way can say for sure that either of TCU or Baylor would not have won. Period.

As to Penn State in 2016, again, we will never know whether Bama or Clemson would have smashed them as they did not play them.

It is about who deserves to be there as the first through fourth best team in college football based on what you did on the field during the entire season. Not...who do you think will win.

I will go the set further, they will try and get both soft B1G schools in.
