I think it is a great hire for both parties. He will pull some recruits to JSU that they normally wouldn’t and he will get some coaching experience.

You don't know anything about Sanders obviously. This will end badly with him being forced out and everyone pointing fingers at each other. No matter how bad he fricks it up, he will find someone else to blame it on. People are so star struck these days that they fall for anything.

Will Jackson State be the first SWAC team to face major NCAA recruiting violations? I mean the man did wonders for Dez Bryant's eligibility. Noel Divine also flourished under his mentorship

Watching him from the front lines here in Texas, I think this is the likeliest outcome. His last two gigs were not inspiring.

The first was the Prime Prep charter school that managed to hyper-recruit sports teams while not really teaching anything and making up grades to keep athletes eligible. Sanders threatened physical violence against school administrators multiple times and even shoved one school employee to the ground. The school went bankrupt due to financial mismanagement.

So he takes his son to Trinity Christian Cedar Hill where he serves as offensive coordinator. That school subsequently gets banned from post-season play and eventually kicked out of its private school league for rampant recruiting violations.

He said "Coach Prime" is the only thing he will answer to.

Will be fired within 3 seasons, probably 2. JSU goes through as many employees as a chain restaurant.

forgot my sarcasterisk

in reality, though, probably not an awful move. JSU has been bad for a while now, and this move alone has gotten more coverage than anything else that has happened in the SWAC over the last 10 years.

Not unreasonable that a guy who could recruit well could make them competitive in the SWAC.

If neon Deion did go to FSU, he would be the best player on the team , both sides of the ball.

Deion didn't even go to FSU when he played for FSU.
