Have lsu fans always been infatuated with UF?

For a program that is fairly similar, they sure do have little brother syndrome.
I understand we have their number in the modern era of football, as well as all-time, but it’s not like it’s by some huge margin. So damn, it’s pretty pathetic just how worried about UF they really are.
I get it, their whole state is basically an inferior version of ours. We have better women, better fishing, more diverse culture, better entertainment, better schools, sports, etc etc
So stop swinging from our nuts little brothers. You will never be us, so stop wishing. It’s sad.

Hopefully this means their moving on from their creepy and unrequited obsession with Bama.

There’s a rehab center for you. Just not in Florida, obviously. A state where you cancel a game because of a hurricane...and then it doesn’t even rain.

Can you blame them ? They hired a DL coach to be their head coach and rumors our we maybe hiring one of the top 10 coaches in college football.

As a Bama fan, I can tell you that you have no idea what their real infatuation is. Ever since we hired Saban anyway. Almost disturbing how much we are discussed by them.

No. In fact, they wanted to cancel the annual series with us, because they felt it was unfair that they had to face the strongest SEC East team each year while other SEC West teams did not. Now that they've been doing reasonably well against us lately, they feel they "own us" and are OK with the annual UF game. As soon as we start winning again, they will want to cancel the series.
