I mean... he’s unreal. He literally throws 30-40 yard ropes while running away from multiple defenders.

I don’t know what the General opinion is, but I don’t see how Bama keeps him off the field.

I tried.

You really have to zoom in just to see the lil guy.

I don’t see him starting this year with no spring practice. That’s okay though because Mac is a steady QB that will likely allow Najee to get much needed touches.

Young won't get any significant playing time this season IMO, as long as Mac Jones and Taulia are healthy.

The problem I see with this statement is why would the #1 player in the country want to sit for two seasons?

Mac Is only a junior. If he starts this season why wouldn’t he next? Saban has to do what’s best for Bama long term.

Well I'm sure Bryce Young would love to start every single game, but that doesn't mean that he will. And obviously Saban didn't promise him anything. He doesn't do that.

Well if Bryce Young starts over Mac and Taulia, then there will be a reason, clearly. I personally think that Mac will be pretty damn good in our offense, but if he's not, and Taulia sucks, then I think that Young will get his chance sooner than later.

I just don't know if Young is physically or mentally ready. Maybe he is, IDK, but sticking him out there prematurely can have some bad consequences, long term.

Manziel 2.0 on those highlights. Every play was a scramble. Im sure anyone would take what Johnny did in college so you may be correct on early PT.

Yeah, let's be honest, Taulia and Paul Tyson are probably not going to see a lot of playing time, unless the lack of practice/development just really hampers BY.

BY certainly looks the part, but we've all seen that 5-star guy who turns out to be the next Blake Barnett. I would say chances are good that he takes over the reins at some point, but we really won't know how his abilities translate until he sees the field.

What I like about him is the swagger. Once Tua got hurt the second time he wasn’t as instinctual anymore. He was worried about being injured while trying to make plays and thus he held the ball too long sometimes.

Some of those receivers should be playing somewhere also.

Well, Taulia is a lot better than Tyson. I don't expect it, I think the probability is fairly low, but it certainly wouldn't shock me if Mac starts under-performing, and Taulia gets some starts in 2020.

That actually kind of surprised me.

I thought Tyson had the advantage with his prototypical build and arm, but man, he's frustratingly not great in live action. I hope he continues to develop and gets there, though.
