Has UGA inherited the Crimson Curse from LSU?

For those that don't know the Crimson Curse gripped LSU for almost 8 years, it started after the 2011 National Championship and effected every LSU sport.
Could UGA's title loss to Bama be the start of their curse? For LSU the curse wasn't exercised until they beat them again in Football. Georgia's chance is this year, even though I think they get smoked.

We haven’t beaten Bama since 2007 so... no.
Also, you Just beat Bama for the first time in 8 years. Maybe string together a couple of wins against them before you determine the curse to be broken.

LSU has one win against Alabama since 2011. Who said their Crimson Curse was over?

We strung together 15 wins. Is that enough ? If not, tell us when we have won enough.

I didn’t realize all 15 wins last year were against Bama

In terms of curses I compare it to the Red Sox beating the Yankees in 2004

Typically the curse lasts as long as you have a long string of no wins, like the Auburn Cigar curse playing in Tiger Stadium since 1999. When Auburn wins in BR, that breaks the curse.

I'd say beating them and winning the NC is curse broken

Alabama has double the wins LSU has in the “rivalry”

No. The Red Sox had gone almost 100 years with no titles after ridding themselves of the greatest player in the history of any sport and sending him to their arch rivals who proceeded to become the most dominant pro sports franchise ever.

You're correct, it was only 14
You're missing the SECCG

What specific exercise was it that exorcized the curse?

No but one of those wins was an arse whipping to a team in Georgia

Maybe try to win something meaningful the first time in four decades before you use such a condescending tone when addressing the Champs.

I would say that if Bama goes on to win 8 more in a row that the curse is still intact. Only time will tell.

Auburn is closer to breaking any curse with Bama during the Saban era than anyone and it isn't broken
