Has the SEC ever been worse in men's basketball, top to bottom?

Conference RPI has the SEC ranked 8th, right between the Atlantic 10 and the Missouri Valley.

3 league teams have RPI above 200

Today's bracketology has 4 teams in...but 2 of those are in the play-in game. Florida is a 1 seed, Missour is a shaky 8 seed, then Kentucky and Ole Miss are just barely scraping in.

The year that LSU won the league and got an 8 seed was a wake-up call as to how mediocre the league has become...and yes, it has gotten worse.
