What do you think their record would be the last decade if they switched places with Arkansas and played in the West?

They’re 1-3 against LSU in the last 10 seasons all 3 losses were arse whoppings. They went 1-6 against Bama in the last 10 years. Something tells me it wouldn’t be quite as good.

Richt probably fired sooner. Kirby maybe not as ready or doesn’t get the job at all.

If we’re living in hypothetical world that is.

As a Dawg, this is absolutely not true. We love the results.

If anything has gotten “boring,” it’s the Tech “rivalry”. Tech isn’t committed to football and the ACC continues to lose ground. It’s gotten so one sided, since Richt came to UGA, I see no reason to continue. Even the most diehard tech fans in my circle have given up hope.

I might be on an island here, but I’d much rather see us leave the cocktail party in Jacksonville…kill the game with Tech….and use the extra game for more marquee non-conference games….Home & Home.

I think Georgia would still be about 50-7 against 5 of the West schools.

You’re saying they would have gotten to the SEC championship at least 4 years of the past decade if they were in the SEC West instead of Arky? Interesting, I just don’t see it, maybe once or twice out of the past 10 years

Dude, they’re talking about sports, not exercise.

There are very few sports in the world as boring as soccer.

True, but that’s mostly because of the 1930’s and LSU’s tremendous historical good fortune when playing UGA:

Ex.

2017 No
2018 Yes
2019 Yes
2020 No
2021 No

He is talking about the last 5 years in the SEC about the lack of parity you better have won the games against LSU to say that.

I ain’t buying the look at the top it’s only Georgia & Alabama just ruining folks when Georgia played LSU and the last two meetings weren’t competitive.

Those are actual games played not hypothetical matchups in years that LSU & Georgia didn’t play. You don’t get credit for things that didn’t happen in other words.

That’s what we do in the south. You have earn that. We devote Saturdays to finding that out & we found out in 2018 and 2019.

On "occasion" someone else gets in, but over the last five years, it's mostly been Bama and UGA

In the last 5 years UGA and Bama have played 2 out of 5. 40%. That does not equal “mostly”.

Not bored with it at all. Want different matchups it’s simple. Beat em.

Like LSU has done to Georgia 4 out of the last 5. 80%= “Mostly”.
