Lost two national championships back to back, playing for two different teams?

Probably has.

That's probably a pretty short list for guys that played for two different teams.

Jameson is a stud and his injury is awful for him. Wish MIZ could have landed him out of HS but he had greater aspirations and achieved those for Bama this year. That’s a different ballgame with him in the natty. Best wishes for full recovery and can’t wait to see him at the next level.

It was awful for Bama. But as for him? If it even drops him the draft, he will still be a first rounder. Therefore, it means he will likely go to a better team.

Ohio State players are used to losing to SEC teams.

Losing 2 national title games is still better than what most teams can do anyway + he'll get a decent NFL contract, even despite the ACL Injury. He will be fine. He is an outstanding talent

I'm sure his life is a lot more fulfilling than a Colorado State alter posting about him on an SEC board.

Oh course, Williams sat the bench in 2020. This season, he was a major reason the Tide came within a hair of winning the title last Monday night.

Somehow he, his teammates, coaches and fanbase sleep well knowing this.

Poor OP... leaves facts out of his post.

Williams is a great player. Best WR in the nation this year and it was tough to see him get injured in the last game. I am glad it wasn’t because of a hit by the UGA defense, fwiw.

You aren't the first first Dawg to express this but it means a good deal to me (and speaking for others I know) to other fans. They also take solace knowing that Mechie and Williams went down not because of some dirty hit (or even a hit at all) - Just a freak twist or landing.

I never want to see ANY player hurt or taken out - especially to win the game. Took a while to teach MsFid to understand and agree.
