That said, when my Boise State friend was HAPPY that you all took him off their hands I thought he was in denial...but it was genuine.

It will be a mistake to underestimate the barn

More than anything else, just sad commentary on just how easy an out we have given immature players. The first sign of homesickness and he's back in Texas. Yeah, transfer portal.
How many articles and comments from players in the past on our teams have spoken about fighting through symptoms of homesickness and then talked about sticking it out, growing up, and learning to be a man?
Najee Harris comes to mind quickly.

That said, this kid decommitted from Baylor in late October and committed to AU a couple of weeks later. In less than a month, his HC, OC, position coach and lead recruiter were fired. He signed with AU a week later having never met any of the new staff.
I wish him well. Likely he’ll end up back at Baylor.

Wow, had not heard that before. Was it just homesickness? Always heard Dye’s practices were hell and they weeded out quite a few players.

You sure post about Auburn a lot. Do you need some more attention from your big brother?

Sounds like Saban’s first year.

Did you hear that in the rest stop bathroom when you were gargling a Bama fan’s cum?

There are some positives:
He’s a foot taller than Seban
He doesn’t dye his hair
His wife’s not morbidly obese
There’s that

That tends to happen when you go from a very laid back coach who isn’t tough on his players, to a disciplinarian that holds kids strictly accountable. This a fairly normal process during major coaching changes.
Does it suck? Sure. Is it needed to build your culture how you want it, yes. How many players did Bama lose the first year or two under Saban? Quite a few if memory serves correctly. You either got on board with his way of doing things or you were gone.

I'd feel uncomfortable if some didn't leave after he got behind the wheel.
