Arthur Blank won't let them play in the Benz here so they have to play in the old Turner Field instead.

I think it got too expensive.

I went to see our FB team play there a couple years ago and it was miserable cold rain and the parking was a mess because of the earlier teams leaving

State title games were moved to Tuscaloosa and Auburn because of the aging Legion Field. The rotation is now between three sites, after Protective Stadium was opened in Birmingham.

It was only $300k in the GA Dome, now it would be $600k.

Not true.

It was too expensive for GHSAA to justify the costs moving forward. It was not AB's decision.
