It was ridiculous to expect Florida staff, players, and fans to put any focus or energy into a football game during a time like this. Millions of people will be negatively affected by this and these people will need to be available to assist. Good call by UF and the SEC. LSU fans as much as anyone can appreciate what's heading Florida's way. This is not the time for that state to spend time on a game.

Thoughts & prayers go out to all the residents of the SE US during this time.

I couldn't agree more. LSU fans kept telling us you cannot divert resources for a football game when this is happening. Glad someone finally listened

Yep, which is why they should move the game to Monday or Baton Rouge or a neutral site away from the storm.

We've done it before. USCe did it last year during the flooding.

Its not fricking hard.

They're fricking scared to get another SEC loss.

frick you bruh. We rescheduled and played 3 games in 2005 while our campus was still a shelter and our players had apartments full of relatives that had to evacuate from their destroyed homes. frick off.

We didn't cancel any games during Katrina, a much bigger disaster. We moved games, had no bye weeks, and dealt with it and still made it to Atlanta. Florida bitched out plain and simple

Now you guys can focus on your own game instead of putting all of your energies into what LSU does.

Absolutely correct. Several days ago would have been the appropriate time.

You can move the game to Monday I guess, but moving it to Baton Rouge is a joke for a team with SEC title hopes.

Do you think for some dumb arse reason that Florida state and Miami fans are not affected?

This could've been handled earlier in the week like a professional administration would have.

Don't worry Aggie fan your day is coming!

prayers to them. as an lsu fan, who in your words should know what it's like to be in this situation, it's beneficial to watch a game to take your minds off the travesty they may hit them. also a neutral site game would have their players and staff out of harms way.
