Didn’t need NIL money to represent his state.

He's a great guy! When he was in Mobile for the Senior Bowl a couple of my son's friends were there the night before. They ran into him and told him that their friend was a big LSU fan, so he called him on the phone to say hello! It was a really nice thing to do, and my son was just blown away. Happy Birthday, Jacob...

Dude put his body through absolute hell that year. One of the greatest to ever wear the purple and gold.

He ran into the line when every knew he was going to run into the line and would simultaneously move defensive linemen and lb and damn near everyone on the opposite team waiting for him. And he would covert 1st downs and score touchdowns when it seemed completely impossible and you were amazed because it seemed completely impossible. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. And he bled purple and gold!

Hester may not have been flashy as many SEC Backs but he never missed a block and he was difficult to tackle. Great combo for a college RB.

Like listening him when they have him on SEC radio on Sirius. Wish he would take douche Peter Burns spot.

Most favorite game I’ve been to in my life and that won’t change.
