Mumme is all over Jackson radio today talking about Coach O forcing the cancelation of his camp in Baton Rouge. Of course the camp included coaches from tiny Division III Belhaven, Ivy League Cornell.

and Houston and Texas.

Ogre is sneaky, he called a bunch of Tennessee players telling them not to go to class when he and Kiffin left for USC.

Why would Orge be afraid of Bellhaven having a camp.

Hell, he should attend as a guest to see if there are any diamonds in the rough in attendance or in case anyone needs to learn how to quickly take off their shirt and give a primal scream.

How did Orgeron get it cancelled?

That's some clout.

Mumme's point about Louisiana having tons of talent that doesn't live on I-10 or I-20 is valid. Hard to get to some of those places and a D3 school like Belhaven can find some diamonds.

I guess you'd have to ask the Texas folks.

Considering the talent that has been produced in the Florida Parishes and the Bayou Parishes, that is a pretty weak narrative.

The article that Pete Thamel wrote was a terrible piece of journalism on his part. Dude is a puppet for his buddy at Texas.

I think there was an issue with just that when he was the Ole Miss head coach. Who needs English classes yaw yaw yaw.

Actually, I think he had some other ncaa issues at Ole Miss too. I'm still scratching my head as to why LSU hired the guy.

Good for O. I'd want Saban to tell Texas to GTFO too.

I can see Belhaven from my office.

Mumme would be much better served by getting on Ogres good side and hoping Ed would someday push some marginal talent his way. He's all but marking LA off of his recruiting map, imo.

Louisiana guy, loves this state, players love playing for him, killing it right now in recruiting, surrounded himself with what might be the best staff in college football. Why scratch your head? frick all the schools that want to come into Louisiana for satellite camps and I think Coach O is sending that message loud and clear! Personally, I love it

Are Jackson area Division 3 schools where washed up former SEC head coaches land? Mike Dubose was fired at Alabama in 2000. Was coaching at Millsaps in 2006.
