Coaching stability in the SEC has been hurt, but I don't think he has the cause quite right...

Gus, you're conflating the SEC Network with the bi-polar nature of the Auburn fanbase.

Well sorry for these reporters and commentators being just as objective as their national counterparts. The SEC Network wasn't founded to scratch your back, coach. They were founded to take that reporting done by ESPN and regionalize it.

Wrong. Nick Saban made that arse quit. Not Finebaum, GMac and Booger.

Even on the rare occasions when Gus can beat Saban, Saban still wins natty's.

I think what he is getting at is they run with fan rumors that have no backing as facts. SECn does this a little more than ESPN, probably because of the rabid nature of the SEC fanbase though

Even without the SEC Network, he would still be having to deal with Finebaum on a more local level, so that argument holds no water with me.

Because they get paid enough to be held to a higher standard. Take half your pay and get half the flack/pressure.

Hes probably referring to the perpetual hot seat talk surrounding coaches. I'd agree that SECN is basically useless. Overpaid people talking.

Maybe he is referring to SEC Network money making coaching buyouts more affordable.
