"The Auburn football team made the most of its visit from SEC referees this week, collaborating with them to run two-minute simulations as close to the real deal as they could be on the practice field — moving the ball up the field with a real crew there to spot the ball between plays and operate pre-snap procedures just as they will on gamedays this year."

HUNH Baws.

Screw commercial breaks.

CBS is going to have to put the "real-time" window back during commercial breaks on your T.V's like they did in 2010.

Did we ask the refs how they plan on handling PI and defensive holding? Obviously we missed something on these subjects in fall camp last year

Isn't he the only current SEC coach that has beat Saban?

gus still runs that tire old offense from 2005. that offense is garbage. as soon as the coots said they were gonna go fast you new it had played out. gus is trash and the quiker auburn realizes it they might get back in the convrsation.

Every year Gus says he will go fast.

Every year since 2014 Gus has talked himself out of running fast and slowed the O down.

Yeah it’s hard to fire back from the embarrassment of losing to Tennessee.

It'll be interesting to see what he does this year. When he has the right QB running that system (aka Nick Marshall), it's like a machine. Bo Nix looks like a stud at QB and maybe he can run it like that as well; I know the guy can sling it. The potential problem Gus might have using HUNH is with his defense. That defensive line is one of the best, if not the best in the nation, and it's the strength of the Auburn D. If Gus consistently runs hurry up, his big uglies on D might get worn down if they're on the field for a long time...

It is a lot like watching a good triple option team run. When they get it going and start chewing up three or four yards a carry over and over again it can be a real pain to the stop them. Especially since bringing the safeties in invites them to throw deep. And every time an option team (read or triple) with a fast QB touches that ball there is a chance that 4 yard dive turns into a 35 yard gain when the QB pulls it.

He seems to be the only coach outside of Dabo that can beat Saban so...

I've always thought HUNH is a sound philosophy. The offense practices it and runs it every game and gets used to it. The opponent's defense don't always encounter it and don't spend the entire year practicing for it and gets tired in the 4th quarter. I honestly don't know why every offense doesn't run it.
