So now instead of being coach of the 2nd best team in the state, he’s coach of the 6th best team in the state. Less expectations = less pressure.

But ... more money. He's still going to get paid by Auburn for a while.
Doesn't have to face SEC teams. He'll dominate the conference.
He's in Disney World plus probably 50 waffle houses.
Dude is a fricking genius.
Going against Mullen, FSU and Miami? He may end up having the top program in Florida.

The Sad Knights will probably love that offense. I hate to call it a gimmick offense, but it's definitely something you would see more at a G5 school instead of a P5 school.

If I'm a recruit, I'd rather play at UCF. More fun. Better chance to see the field. Against non-SEC teams. It's nothing but upside. Would not surprise me to see UCF as the top program in Florida in the next 2-3 years.

He is. But he doesn't have to win Natties at UCF to be considered a GOAT at that level.

Good for Gus. Maybe UCF will appreciate him because AU sure didn't. He was probably a better coach than the man who's name is on the field, and Gus was treated like garbage. He also didn't leave the program on probation.

He just walked away with $21 million. frick off with that shite.
At least we didn't put a brick through his window, Gump.

Like garbage, and all because the PTB want to try to keep up with Alabama when they never have been able to. Gus was as accomplished as any AU coach in their history, and money doesn't change how the AU people treated Gus. AU is going to regret firing Gus and hiring Harsin. Maybe then they'll come to appreciate what Gus was able to do at AU in the most competitive era in SEC history.

Now its “Sir Gus” and he is afforded all of the rights and privileges of knighthood such as booking tables at any fine restaurant of his choosing. Here is a list of whats ahead now for Sir Gus.

Right after UAB is the top program in Alabama.

The awkward things you have to put up with in order to get paid millions to get fired

No, we were fine with his record vs. Alabama. UGA was the bigger issue.

How was he treated? Did we throw bricks through his window? Did he get death threats like the Alabama kicker?

Maybe, but I doubt it.

Nah. Harsin will do at least as well. At least 3 of Malzahn's predecessor's actually had undefeated seasons. I do appreciate what he did, but he quit his job last year before he was fired.
