Gus has to be the happiest man in America!
He either wins the Iron Bowl & gets a rise and a contract extension, or he loses the Iron Bowl and gets a raise and a contract extension. At Arkansas

the ultimate "win/win"

Auburn can't afford to fire him and he's not welcome on the Hill.

It has to feel amazing.

Gus will get ~$30 million no matter how well or poorly he does his job.

I guess it’s how CEOs feel when they try to save a dying corporation. Save it and get rich being a hero or it dies and you get rich anyway.

I know Aubies don't want to hear this, but Gus is actually a pretty good coach. Probably in the 15-20 range.

Problem is Gus is the seventh highest paid coach in college football.

If he was paid 15 or 20, I might could tolerate the mediocrity better.

We ordered Filet Mignon. We got a hot dog with nothing on it.

I am not saying you should keep him. Auburn should want more, but he would be a damn good coach for most programs.

Not all Arkansas boosters agree with that assessment. And once again, fans have no real say here

I don't understand why Arky wants Gus. Having him guarantees you at least three conference losses per year.

I'm going on record stating I don't think Gus will do well at Arkansas, unless he can somehow have a DC to prop him up, as has been for the past few years.
That being said though, Gus would be an improvement over any other coach Arkansas has had since patrino

We, as a giant majority, DON’T.

Altho, seems like GA, LSU, that particular Aggie and most definitely the Auburn fans dream we do.

There’s folks threatening to stop buying tickets on the Auburn board If he’s kept..

Aside from the fact that I can’t stand him as a human, he’s an offensive genius with a total shite offense. We just had that, no thanks.

I’d hate to think our AD (who wasn’t the decision maker for the Morris hire) is that stupid.
