UCF is a mid major program and playing on the road at programs like that is beneath them.

It's not just that, they just have absolutely nothing to gain by playing that game. Beating them won't impress anyone, and they don't need any help recruiting the state of Florida. Why sacrifice home game revenue to play a G5 program on the road? Basically the same arguments Florida has had for not agreeing to a H&H with them. Those games only benefit UCF

Doesn’t change the fact that they haven’t played any to this day since 2011. My point was that they have not played one.

It's not our fault cities like Atlanta and Dallas will pay us 6 Million+ to come beat the hell out of another team to start our season year in and year out.

Well I can't blame Gus for trying. He's just trying to do his job.

And he got what he wants out of it. People are talking about UCF.
But I agree Alabama has absolutely nothing to gain by playing UCF on the road.

Yes those are all future schedules

You realize the topic of conversation here is "future schedules", right?

Future schedules don’t mean shite. They are tentative.

Yes, Alabama is about to cancel 10 straight road games with 10 different opponents that starts in less than 2 years

Memo to Sabes...he’s going to quickly run the ball up the middle after a first down. Just a hunch...

Please list all of the games between 2013 and 2020 where a Gus-led Auburn came to Tuscaloosa and left with a victory.

This is him trying to rile up the fanbase and to get people talking... He was competitive, AT TIMES, with Bama because of the rivalry... He will have some success at UCF but if he's still running that unstoppable high school offense, Saban will embarrass him AGAIN...

Alabama won't play a return game and they shouldn't. UCF is a mid major program and playing on the road at programs like that is beneath them. UCF will claim they tried but Bama was "scared".

Tell UCF to come to Tuscaloosa to play and we'll give'em the going rate....$750,000 to come. Then leave the ball in their court.

Going rate is more like $1.75 million, but I agree.

Reminds me of when Boise State use to say "We called everybody and no one will play us!" and Cecil Hurt asked Mal about it and he said Boise had in fact NOT called Alabama.

as much laughable as this is, this is the type of scheduling UCF needs to do to get their foot in the door of the playoff conversation. this could lead to future games with bigger P5 schools. This can only benefit UCF.
